How do we destroy a Hard Drive?
Data-Shred has state of the art high end three phase industrial shredding machine. It’s specifically designed to destroy your hard drives so data can never be retrieved or reconstructed. Only complete and physical destruction will ensure that your digital data is permanently destroyed. We use this machine for shredding all types of media listed above.
This destruction process is captured by 4 Full HD Cameras and the video of the destruction is sent to you with the data destruction certificate.
We also offer a “Watch and Drop” service. This is done in one or two ways. You can be physically present at our secure premises and watch your drives being shredded or you can watch the destruction of your hard drives / media on a live stream video link.

Asset Recording
Following every hard drive destruction service you will receive a certificate of destruction and a video file. This certificate would ensure your audit trail within the curtilage of GDPR regulations and the WEEE regulations in 2016.
